About

You inherit the gukbap shop your father ran. Survive thirty days and the run ends.

What kind of game is this?

One thing happens each day. The butcher calls to say pork is up again, your part-timer brings up her wage, a franchise gukbap chain opens across the street. You pick one of two options. That is the whole of the controls.

What you pick adds up in cash, reputation, regulars, and staff morale. Some choices come back a few days later as a different event. After thirty days, everything you chose is laid out on a single card.

What are you managing?

The five are not independent. Raising quality means simmering from dawn, which wears your staff out. Raising the price widens the margin but thins the walk-ins. Only a shop that banked regulars first can raise the price and stay standing.

Why build it?

A prototype, made to find out whether a management game holds up on choices alone, with no graphics to lean on. 129 events, thirty days a run, five to ten minutes. Nothing to install, and signing in is optional.

Play records are collected anonymously to see where the game gets dull and where people quit. What is and is not collected is written out in the privacy policy.
