← Gukbap Simulator

How to play

One pick a day. That is the whole rulebook.

A day

  1. One event happens.
  2. Pick one of two options. What changes right away is printed under each option.
  3. You trade for the day. Customers come, bowls sell, costs go out.
  4. You read the day’s numbers and move on.

The keyboard works too. 1 and 2 pick, Enter moves on.

Starting conditions

In the thirty-day run you choose where to start. Only the starting point differs; the rules are the same. Each condition has its own leaderboard.

The rest open as you play. What unlocks them is written on the condition-select screen. Everyone starts at 55 food quality and 60 staff morale, and a bowl of pork gukbap is ₩9,000.

Endless mode

No thirty days. You compete on how many days you last before it falls apart. In exchange, every choice is on a timer.

The more events you already know, the better you do. It plays far better once you have finished thirty days at least once.

Where the money goes

The fixed cost climbs as the days pass. Turning a profit early and then coasting will catch up with you late.

Worth knowing

How a run ends

You finish thirty days, or you hit one of these. The exact conditions are on Endings and score.
